VINYASA YOGA

Class Description:  The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” A connective flow where you will move from one pose to the next on a inhale or an exhale. An aggressive yoga style, meaning that your muscular system will be fully engaged during this 1 1/2  hours practice.

 

YIN YOGA

Class Description: This is a very gentle and passive yoga style. During this 30 minute yoga practice the focus of concentration is not on our muscular structure but on our connective tissue and decompressing our spine and joints. Don’t take this form for granted, you will be very sore between each posture. Traditionally, each posture is to be held for 5 to 13 minutes. During class our goal is 5 minutes as a building block. Don’t worry, I do allow you to come out of the posture sooner if need be.

 

Note: I highly recommend taking both classes for your complete yoga practice. A balance of Yin and Yang yoga practice will allow you to develop muscular tissue, strengthen and create flexibility, assist you in deepening your postures and provide you with an increased range of motion.

Per Class: $15 per hour

4 Week Session: $50

8 Week  Session: $100
